​I am a woman, a daughter, a wife, and a physician, but my most proud accomplishment is being a Mother. When my daughter came out to me at the age of 12, my view of the world changed irrevocably. I began to see inequalities that I never knew existed in this world. I began to view love, marriage, acceptance, employment, education and almost every facet of life from the viewpoint of my marginalized daughter. I have two main goals in my life. As a physician my focus in on providing excellent patient care and advancing the quality of medical care in Fort Myers. Personally, my goal is to honor my daughter by supporting the LGBTQ community and being a fierce voice for equality and acceptance.
